To support our next phase of growth, we are looking for a Sales Director Europe. You will lead our commercial growth from Belgium into neighbouring European markets, with an initial focus on Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
The role
This is a hands-on sales leadership role. You will lead from the front: shape the regional sales strategy, coach the team to build pipeline, open senior-level conversations and move key opportunities forward. Your role is to turn market opportunity into measurable commercial growth. You will help industrial organisations understand the cost of fragmented contractor management and build a strong business case for a more structured, digital and service-driven approach.Â
You will engage with Safety Directors, SHEQ leaders, Operations Managers, Plant Managers, Procurement Leaders, IT stakeholders, Security teams and executive decision-makers.
You will report directly to the General Manager and lead a focused commercial team that currently consists of a sales professional and an SDR. As the business grows, you will help shape and expand the team.
Your mission
Your mission is to grow new business revenue and build a stronger, more predictable commercial engine for Europe. You will own regional sales execution, pipeline creation, new business development, team leadership and commercial performance. You will also be responsible for forecasting input, pipeline discipline and consistent use of HubSpot and MEDDPICC within the sales team.
You will have significant freedom to set priorities, organise accounts and territories, improve sales processes, coach the team and structure commercial opportunities.
Pricing, quoting, margin decisions and final approvals are handled in close collaboration with the General Manager and relevant group stakeholders. You will contribute commercial judgment, customer context and deal strategy within the agreed company framework.
You will also support partnerships, integrations and Veriforce Group initiatives when they directly strengthen regional sales opportunities, customer value or market development. Broader group-level commercial operations, strategic partnerships, integrations and pricing governance remain aligned with leadership and the wider Veriforce Group.
What success looks like
Within your first year, your impact should be visible. You will have increased new business revenue, grown the customer base and strengthened Onyx One’s position in industrial markets. Belgium will remain a strong core market, while the Netherlands and Germany will have a clearer go-to-market approach and a stronger basis for direct commercial growth.
You will have built a higher-quality pipeline, improved forecast accuracy, strengthened sales cycle progression and created a clearer rhythm for sales performance.
The team will have stronger focus, better coaching, clearer accountability and disciplined use of HubSpot and MEDDPICC.
What you will do
- Define and execute the sales strategy for Europe, with an initial focus on Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.Â
- Lead, coach and develop a focused team of sales and SDR colleagues.Â
- Build and manage a high-quality pipeline in sectors such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, energy, manufacturing and logistics.Â
- Maintain a strong market presence and understand customer priorities, competitive dynamics and sector-specific opportunities.Â
- Personally prospect, open senior-level conversations and lead or support strategic sales opportunities.Â
- Guide complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from first contact to decision.Â
- Translate contractor workload, compliance pressure, operational risk, training needs and access challenges into compelling business cases.Â
- Engage senior stakeholders across HSE, SHEQ, Operations, Procurement, IT, Security and executive leadership.Â
- Contribute to pricing, quoting, margin discussions and deal construction with sound commercial judgment.Â
- Position Onyx One as a trusted partner combining technology, service and operational expertise.Â
- Position relevant Veriforce solutions when they create additional customer value.Â
- Create structure, accountability and performance rhythm through clear targets, pipeline discipline, coaching and follow-up.Â
- Own sales reporting input, forecasting discipline, HubSpot hygiene and MEDDPICC adoption.Â
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, Presales, Implementation, Customer teams, leadership and relevant Veriforce Group stakeholders.Â
- Represent Onyx One in strategic customer conversations, industry events, partner discussions and relevant group initiatives.Â
- Provide leadership with market insights, customer feedback and recommendations for growth.Â
Who you are
You are a commercially strong sales leader who can build markets, lead people and win complex opportunities. You combine strategic clarity with hands-on execution. You know how to set direction, challenge a pipeline, coach sales professionals, assess deal quality and personally engage with senior customers when it matters. You understand that sustainable sales performance comes from preparation, customer proximity, discipline and consistent execution.
You bring confidence without arrogance, ambition without short-term thinking and structure without unnecessary complexity. You are ambitious, but not ego-driven. You take ownership, share information, challenge people constructively and help others perform better. This role requires someone who wants to build with the team, not above the team.
What you bring
- Â At least eight years of experience in complex B2B solution sales.Â
- A strong track record in new business development and regional commercial growth.Â
- Experience selling to industrial, technical or operationally complex organisations.Â
- Experience with long sales cycles, multiple stakeholders and senior-level decision-making.Â
- Experience leading, coaching or coordinating SDRs, business development profiles or sales professionals.Â
- Strong market insight and the ability to translate customer needs, sector trends and competitive dynamics into clear sales priorities.Â
- A consultative sales approach and the ability to build credible, value-driven business cases.Â
- A visible and hands-on leadership style.Â
- High resilience, professional drive and the mindset to perform in a demanding sales environment.Â
- Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.Â
- Commercial judgment, negotiation skills and the ability to contribute to pricing, margin and deal discussions.Â
- Experience with CRM discipline, forecasting and structured sales methodologies.Â
- The ability to create structure, focus and accountability while preserving entrepreneurial momentum.Â
Experience in enterprise SaaS, contractor management, HSE, SHEQ, compliance, industrial technology, service-driven environments or supply chain risk management is a strong advantage. A highly experienced enterprise seller who has already taken on coaching, coordination or leadership responsibilities may also be an excellent fit.
Languages
Fluent Dutch and English are required.
Professional French is highly valuable for the Belgian market.
Speaking German isn’t a requirement, but it is a plus
