Business Development Manager Europe

To support that ambition, we are looking for a Business Development Manager Europe who will help expand our presence across Benelux and support future growth into Germany and Northern Europe.

What you will do

This is not a transactional sales role. You will lead consultative sales conversations with companies where contractor compliance, safety, and operational control are business-critical. You will help prospects rethink how they manage contractors across sites and translate complex operational challenges into a clear and credible value story. You will identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across your region. You will manage multi-stakeholder sales processes, build trusted relationships with decision-makers, and contribute directly to our European growth. You will work closely with another Business Development Manager and be supported by an internal SDR, Marketing, product specialists, implementation experts, and leadership.

  • Develop new business across targeted industrial sectors.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders such as Safety Directors, Procurement Leaders, Operations Managers, and Plant Managers.
  • Lead complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.
  • Turn customer challenges into a strong business case with clear operational value.
  • Position Onyx One as a combination of technology, service, and operational support
  • Identify opportunities for long-term growth across sites, business units, and regions.
  • Represent Onyx One at relevant industry events and in the market Share market insights and customer feedback with internal teams

Your profile

  • You are commercially strong, curious, and credible in industrial environments
  • You know how to engage both operational teams and senior decision-makers.
  • You can navigate complex buying processes, build trust, and move opportunities forward in a structured way.
  • You have proven experience in B2B solution sales. Experience in compliance, safety, industrial technology, or services is a strong plus.
  • You bring a strong track record in new business development.
  • You have experience with multi-stakeholder sales processes.
  • You have a consultative sales approach and a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • You have strong communication and presentation skills.
  • You can work autonomously.
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch, and have a decent grasp of French. If you also speak German, that would be an advantage.
